   The Saltaire Wedding Rates & Packages

W e d d i n g   &  R e c e p t i o n   R a t e s   &   F e e s
Rates indicate use of The Saltaire entire property, consisting of the entire house,
Guest Rooms with accommodation for up to 14 persons, stocked with linens and towels, saltwater Pool and grounds.
  • Weekly Rate of $9,500 plus taxes with check-in on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and check-out the following Wednesday at 10 a.m.
  • Long Weekend Rental of $5,500 plus taxes for a four-day minimum rental period with check-in on Thursday at 4 p.m. and check-out on Monday at 10 a.m.
  •  Single Day Rental of $1,700 per day plus taxes to provide the opportunity for accommodation on either end of a Long Weekend Rental when needed, with check-in on Wednesday at 4 p.m. or check-out on Tuesday at 10 a.m. 
  • Wedding Day Event Fee of $3,000 including taxes and provides tables, chairs, place settings (dinnerware, glassware and silverware) for up to 125 guests, plus clean-up after the event. Click here for detailed information.
  •  Additional Event Fee of $450 for events with more than 14 guests, for events where food and drink will be served such as wedding rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons or morning after brunches during a rental of The Saltaire House.
  •  (Optional) Daily Maid Service of $250 per day (does not apply to cleaning the kitchen) is available and especially recommended for day of wedding and weekly rentals.
All rentals are subject to NC Sales Tax of 6.75%  &
Dare Co. Occupancy Tax of 5% for a total tax rate of 11.75%

At The Saltaire, we recognize that some couples would be better accommodated by the option for weekday nuptials. That's why we've created a Weekday Wedding Package, which we are happy to customize for your needs. Please just let us know how we can make this option work best for you!

The Weekday Wedding Package is $3,900, plus taxes, and includes:
  • Small Event Fee of $450 for Rehearsal Dinner for up to 50 people on Monday or Tuesday night. Please note that catering service will be an additional charge incurred by the bride and groom.
  • Wedding Day Event Fee of $3,000 provides tables, chairs, place settings (dinnerware, glassware and silverware) for up to 125 guests, plus clean-up after the event. This charge covers the Wedding Reception, held at The Saltaire. The rate includes use of The Saltaire property for entertaining, consisting of the house, saltwater Pool and grounds. 
  • Wedding Night Accommodations in the Bridal Suite on Tuesday or Wednesday night at $450 for the Bride & Groom on the night of their wedding, with check-out by 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The Bride will be able to utilize the Bridal Suite to get ready the entire day. Couples are welcome to add an additional night after the Rehearsal Dinner for an additional $450, or to add additional rooms for family as needed at the regular nightly rate as priced by room. Please note that the nights of the Weekday Wedding Package may be changed to include Thursday only when availability allows and at the discretion of the owner, and that the Wedding Ceremony may be held on the beach or at The Saltaire at no additional charge.

Wedding Planning Weekend Package
We realize it can be difficult to plan a destination wedding from afar. You want quality vendors, the best prices, and service you can trust for your special day. Yet the fun of planning can quickly become overwhelming and rushed when couples breeze onto the island for only a day to pack in meetings, tastings and major wedding decisions.

That's why The Saltaire now offers a chance for you to plan your wedding in a relaxed luxurious environment. You come to plan during a cozy winter weekend, and let us take care of the scheduling details. (The decisions are still up to you!)

The Wedding Planning Weekend is $500, plus taxes, and includes:
  • Accommodations and Continental Breakfast for two for two nights in the Green Suite, with arrival on Friday night and departure after breakfast on Sunday morning.
  • Option for a Group Weekend! Parents, friends and additional family are welcome to book additional rooms for your weekend at the regular nightly room rate. The Saltaire will easily accommodate the happy couple, as well as aditional family members up to 5 bedrooms. Click here for rates.
  • Tour of The Saltaire with owner, Ron Forlano, after check-in on Friday. Ron will gladly answer any questions you might have about The Saltaire property and wedding planning on the Outer Banks, over wine, cheese & crackers.
  • Scheduling of Appointments: The Saltaire will arrange hour-long appointments with your preferred vendors beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning then continuing into the afternoon as needed. If you would like us to book our own recommended vendors, we would be happy to do so as well.
  • Catered Lunch: Your planning day will break for two hours mid-day over a catered lunch prepared by The Saltaire's in-house chef and caterer, Gwen Hart, who will gladly discuss the culinary details of your event with you after you dine. This will be its own mini-tasting, as you will choose potential wedding menu items in advance for Gwen to prepare.
  • Concierge Services such as dinner reservations, golf tee times and basic area information will be gladly provided by The Saltaire's reservationist during your stay.
Please note that the nights of the Wedding Planning Weekend Package may be changed from Friday & Saturday only when availability allows and at the discretion of the owner, and that this package is only available in the off-season, from October thru March. The owner reserves the right to show the property to prospective brides during Wedding Planning Weekends.
